Mwalimu Dropping Da Knowledge
Premiering on Bermuda’s Channel 82 in the spring of 2021, Mwalimu Dropping Da Knowledge will feature mini-lectures by Mwalimu Melodye Micere Van Putten on a variety of historical and cultural topics. Presented from an African centered viewpoint that is also Pan-African, topics include Culture Keepers, global Black Freedom Fighters, Bermuda Black History, African and African Diaspora History. A collaboration between Lamone Woods, owner of Channel 82 and MMVP, the weekly, 30-minute program is designed to nurture consciousness in the community.
