The film is wonderful! What a national treasure we have in Melodye! In Bermuda and the USA, I hope more of our young people will have an opportunity to learn of our vast history!<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Excellent! Well done! It must be shown to all of Bermuda.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Awesome! A must for our children.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Uplifting, vital, important, necessary&#8230; a cut above the rest. Awesome!!!<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Important film&#8230; wish it had been longer.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>This documentary brilliantly and lucidly highlights the importance and the need to empower children\/people of African descent through the teaching of African history and culture. Awesome job!!!<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Very inspiring, motivating, a great way to educate children and adults especially by using the action method. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the film &#8211; enlightening and educational&#8230; powerful.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Ashay! The film was absolutely brilliant! A real joy!<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Excellent! A subject that is necessary to b<\/em>e <em>taught in our schools. Bring it back in Bermuda&#8217;s schools!<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>I am inspired! It needs to be shown thoughout this country and planet. She is a great educator to both watoto (student) and mwalimu (teacher).<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>This makes life simple again with organic tools [for teaching].<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Thank you! Zion Church. \u00a0The following comments are a sampling from both screenings.<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Boy, did I enjoy that! \u00a0Motivated me even more to go talk to my sons&#8230; \u00a0I found myself repeating what the kids were saying in the film.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Bring this education to Charlotte!<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Thought-provoking! \u00a0Empowering children for forward change of African Americans and all who choose to embrace truth.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Great film and teachings for ALL ages in our community. \u00a0I&#8217;m interested in learning more about the Ashay Objectives.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>We must teach American history, \u00a0but also teach African history. \u00a0It would be a disservice not to teach both&#8230;<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Healing HIstory was amazing. \u00a0Being a part of Black History Workshops for Children, it really brought back great memories for me and to hear that it is still being taught today. \u00a0The Ashay Objectives will be something I will be drilling into my daughter on a daily.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Great learning tool for all. \u00a0Enjoyed the presentation.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Very informative. \u00a0There are always lessons to learn.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>I think the documentary is very informative and is very much needed in our community. \u00a0This program needs to be implemented in a lot of areas throughout the country for awareness.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>This is very needed.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Simply outstanding!!<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Excellent information. \u00a0Thank you.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>What an awesome opportunity experiencing first hand Melodye Micere Van Putten share her passion for educating others through her poetry and life experiences. \u00a0I could revisit this place forever!!!<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Excellent!!
